The museum is home to pictures and artifacts spanning over 115 years of the region's mining and settlement history. Museum displays highlight the story of the early mines and communities of Corbin, Michel, Middletown, and Natal, and the story of Sparwood and mining today.
Journey into the past and discover some of the extraordinary events, people and places that helped shape our community.
Discover more about Sparwood's underground and open pit mining heritage throughout our community. Visit the Titan Truck to get a sense of the scale of mining equipment used by Teck at local open pit mines today, or book a mine tour at the Sparwood Visitor Centre. Remember the loss of lives in the area's mines by visiting the Miners' Statue. Take a free self-guided mural and artifacts historical tour that takes you around the downtown core.
